I'm thinking maybe there's something wrong with my Analytics tracker. How could I not have a single visitor since before Christmas? Or has the world actually ended without my noticing it?

Perhaps your analytics indicator is off. I visit your site each weekday. It's a cousinly thing to do. :-)
By the way, I'm the person who was trying to follow up with your sister about a genealogical question she posted to the Internet several years ago. She didn't respond to my email so I gather she's not active in researching that line (Laurent and Stohlmann) anymore.
I do enjoy your posts though.

P.S. I'm sorry you didn't hear from my sister. I didn't hear from her for almost two years! So you are not alone! I'm not sure she has e-mail now. But if she calls me, I'll tell her about you.
No problem! I understand these things. But you folks are the only cousins I know from the sister (Louise Laurent) of my great-great-grandmother Carolina Laurent Müller, so I'll keep checking in to read your blog.
As for the tracker, you might try reinstalling the Analytics code to make sure it's properly tracking. Personally, I love my stats...so much fun to see all the cities throughout the world where visitors originate.
